The Salvation Army - 2010
The Salvation Army will receive 50 cents from every
Harvest Fun pass
Over $3,500 was raised for Make-A-Wish through the
purchase of Harvest Fun passes. Thank you for your continued
support.
Through the purchase of Harvest Fun passes we raised
over $3,700 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph.
They continue to accept applications for Big Brothers
and Sisters.
Thanks to our customers through the corn maze
and additional donations we raised over $4,000 for World
Vison! This was enough to purchase three stables worth
of animals that support the livelihood of people in
need! Well done!
Christmas came early in 2006 as Strom's
5-acre corn maze partnered with Operation Christmas
Child (OCC). Guests gathered clues in the maze to fill
an imaginary shoe box for a child in need. They were
also able to pick up a shoe box to take home and fill.
Also, 10% of corn maze passes went to OCC. $2,970.36
was raised!
In 2005, Strom's partnered with Habitat for Humanity
Wellington County. Along with creating awareness through
informational corn maze stations and brochures, 10%
of all corn maze passes, .25 of each sweet corn dozen,
and individual donations went to Habitat for Humanity
Wellington County. $4,457.84 was raised!
Past Years
Before 2005, Strom's donated over $12,000
to the World Disaster Organization and Guelph and Cambridge
Food Banks thru our sweet corn sales (.25 of each dozen
purchased). Thanks for supporting our community! |
