Western Europe Trip

A whirlwind tour flying into Paris on to Interlaken, Switzerland and up to Gimmelwald. After two weeks in Switzerland, moved on to Italy stopping first Venice, on to Rome, Florence, Pisa, Cinque Terre and Millan.

From there we took a train across the south of france (no stops) straight to Barcelona. In Barcelona we met with our roommates, Krista and Josh. We moved onto do some hiking in the South of Spain, then met up with Josh and Krista in Seville for some flamenco dancing.

Took a bus to the Algarve (southern Portugal), rented a car and made our way around the south end of Portugal and eventually up to Lisbon where Josh and Krista flew home. We then moved on to Porto where we met up with Stuart and Tracy for a weekend of hiking, drinking and horseback riding.

Then it was across the top of Spain, up the west side of France to the Normandy region. After touring the beaches, we moved on Amsterdam where we spent the last three days relaxing and visiting museums and Anne Frank's house.

All and all a great trip. Look forward to hitting South America and Scandanavia next!
