Rural Community Tour
Grade 3
This tour looks at rural vs. urban with a focus on the
rural.
Corn Tour
JK/SK - Grade 4
Corn programs cover:
- Growth & changes in corn as a source of
food
and a supplier of oxygen
- Corn – its life cycle, identification
of parts, and what features make it unique to survive
its climate and surroundings
- Fun - learn about corn using all your senses
Corn Tours consist of:
Option 1:
- Farm Overview
- Wagon ride
- Popcorn tasting
- 1.5 acre corn maze with educational stations
- Educational wrap-up focusing on Life Systems curriculum
Allow 1.5 hours
20-60 students
$8.00 per student (includes HST)
Option 2:
Option 1 plus a trip to the pumpkin patch to pick a pie pumpkin for each student.
Allow 1.75 hours
20-60 students
$8.50 per student (includes HST)
Minimum 20 students for all tours.
Payment is due upon completion of the tour.
If you would like to extend your time on the farm please
feel free to have your students bring a snack or lunch.
Picnic tables are available for your use. A fee of $1
per student applies.
Tours are rain or shine. In case of severe storms we
are unable to do the corn maze or wagon ride but have
plenty of fun activities planned for the barn.
For adequate supervision we require 1 adult per 5 students.
Teachers and adults are free (up to required number
of adults). Additional adults are $10 and may be limited
to activities due to space. Adults pay for products
based on the current price.

New - Preschool Program
Includes: wagon ride, our corn trail, sand pile, straw
and cedar maze, parachute activities and finish your
time on the farm picking a 'Cannonball' pumpkin from
our patch.
